Finally got that burger... And boy, was it worth the wait!

Let the feasting begin, with a burger!
I've been craving a burger for weeks now, and I’m not talking about a wimpy $2.50 cheeseburger from a fast food chain. I’m taking about a big juicy, meat filled burger. Today, my wish was granted. Add slow braised brisket and smokey BBQ sauce to the mix, and my friend, you’re onto a winner.
This afternoon Mr Wonderful and I ventured down to Fat Jak’s in St Kilda for a drool-worthy burger the likes of which I thought only existed in my dreams. The Risk it for a Brisket burger I ordered was phenomenal! The meat; juicy. The sauce; creamy. The pickles; perfect.

Mr Wonderful ordered the Truffle Shuffle with a side of truffle cheese fries. Truffle over-load you may think, but you’d be wrong! The perfect combination of beef, cheese, onions, mushies and truffle mayo. I ate more than the two truffle cheese fries I promised him I would restrict myself to, but try those bad boys, and you would understand why!
This humble looking burger joint needs to make its way onto your Burger Bucket List - don’t lie, I know you have one! Exposed bricks, glow from the ‘FJ’ neon light, a wall of additional sauces (not that you need them), branded buns and $6 Furfy pints - dreams, they really do come true. This was definitely the first of many visits to Fat Jak’s for me and Mr Wonderful.
